FRESH WATER   
The Beneteau 361 is an extremely successful design which effectively combines a fast and responsive hull form by Berret/Racoupeau with an elegant and well appointed interior. Optimized to be easily single handed with roller furling in-mast main and genoa, autopilot, self-tailing winches within easy reach of the helm, and all control lines led to the cockpit; the Beneteau 361 makes the perfect performance cruiser for a couple or a growing family.
The Beneteau 361 accommodates six overnight with two double staterooms fore and aft and a convertible drop-down stbd settee. In a pinch a seventh might sleep on the port settee. The galley is large and includes freezer and refrigerator, microwave, propane stove, sink and lots of storage. The head to stbd features a good size vanity and a separate shower area with a seat. An Added Option is a Fischer .Panda Diesel Generator
The varnished teak interior is bright and airy with lots of overhead deck hatches, opening portlights, and fixed windows. The sole is a long wearing teak and thiocol look. Head room ranges from 6'5" at the companionway to 6'4" in the galley and salon to 6'3" in the vee berth.

Accommodations

"WHATEVER" shows like VERY NICE upon entry to port is the huge Galley with twin deep sinks, a freezer compartment and it also has a front opening refrigeration entry. To starboard aft is the Queen sized aft bunk with shelving and a large hanging locker. Just forward of the aft cabin is the unique Head area that is equipped with a separate stand up shower. The U-shaped dinette is easily converted to a large double berth. There is a full forward facing Nav Station forward of the Galley and a settee that can be used as a single berth. There is 6'4" Headroom throughout the boat and that includes the roomy V-berth. Boat includes; Propane Stove with Oven, Microwave, Front Loading Refrigerator and Freezer, and one Head w/ stand up enclosed shower. The Forward Vee Berth has a Custom Mattress.

Construction/Mechanical

'WHATEVER' was laid up by hand. For added strength, ensured repeatability and efficiency of production, patterned cut fiberglass is laminated with vinylester resin on hull skin coats – ensuring specific placement of laminate thickness. Beneteau has one of the most advanced furniture manufacturing facilities in the maritime industry, utilizing computer guided machinery to create perfect fitting joinery. Each component is first hand sanded and inspected before receiving several coats of machine-applied varnish for uniform gloss and durability. The hull to deck joint with wide return flange is one of the strongest in the industry. It is chemically bonded with mechanical shear fasteners – 100% reliability with no recorded failure in millions of miles of tough ocean conditions. The grid system spreads the load evenly, eliminating flex in a structure that is lighter and stiffer than traditional construction. The bulkheads in "WHATEVER" are not just “room dividers”. The bulkheads are bonded using a two component polyurethane adhesive manufactured by LORD Corporation. As a boat works and flexes in rough conditions, the bond remains 100% intact and does not gradually degrade as with glass tabbing.
