This flush deck, tri-cabin trawler style motor yacht was built by Lansa in Taiwan. Excalibur has a raked stem, substantial bow flare, flat sheer line, and a slightly curved transom with a swim platform. The vessel profile presents a bow pulpit, open foredeck with anchor windlass (chain locker below) and mooring hardware followed by a forward cabin trunk (forward stateroom, guest stateroom and head below) with an escape/ventilation hatch. The main cabin (lower helm station, galley and salon) follows the low profile forward cabin trunk. The fore deck continues aft becoming side decks along the cabin structure and leading to a full width sun deck (master stateroom beneath). Aft in the salon space on centerline are steps leading down to the master stateroom with a pedestal queen sized bed on centerline and ensuite head to starboard. The pedestal bed is generally surrounded by built-in lockers and dressers. Beneath the aft end of the master berth are two stainless steel freshwater tanks, the vessel’s steering gear, and trim tab components. Forward and to port on the sun deck is a ship’s ladder leading to the flying bridge with the vessel’s second helm station, single upholstered helm seat along with upholstered seating arranged to starboard (bench) and in the port side aft corner (“L” shaped) with a hi-lo table. There is storage space under all of the seats. The flying bridge and seating area is protected by a Sunbrella and isinglas zippered enclosure supported by approx. 1” SS tubing framework. The swim platform is accessed by steps from the sun deck. The vessel’s tender is secured in a davit system mounted on the transom. An additional single arm electric davit is mounted at the stern. The engine room with twin 6V-92 Detroit Diesels, Onan genset, fuel tanks, batteries, and MSD holding tank is located beneath the salon and galley sole.
