Hull

The hull was produced using the proprietary REGAL "LIFECore" manufacturing system. Laminates are vacuum-infused for the hull ( deck), the hull bottom is solid laminate and the Topsides are cored. The outer hull coating is of VINYLESTER Resin for superior protection for hull moisture intrusion over time,

The Topsides finish for the FREE WILLY is observed to be in well-above average condition.

The entire Helm Deck area is designed to be fully-enclosed on demand. Climate control is provided by a separate HVAC unit.

Accommodations

The REGAL 42 Sport Coupe was produced with (2) Staterooms. The Master Stateroom is forward and the Guest Stateroom is aft ("mid-Cabin") and is accessible on the starboard side aft. There are (2) Heads that are ensuite to both Staterooms. The Salon has the Galley located to port and the Salon seating is to starboard. The Galley is located in the Salon area, port side.

All entrance doors have the REGAL proprietary "Double Lock" system to ensure that the doors remain secure in rough conditions.

Propulsion

The REGAL 42 Sport Coupe is powered by twin VOLVO-PENTA D4-300 Turbo 3.7L inline (4) cylinder marine diesels w/ IPS400 (Integrated Propulsion System) pod drives. They are rated at 300 SHP each. As equipped, the FREE WILLY will cruise in the mid-20's knots and have a top end at Wide Open Throttle (W.O.T.) at 3600 RPM's in the low 30's-knot range.
