Fresh-water Tiara 3600 Convertible now available and on display in our showroom. "Mitchagain"  features the comfortable appointments and superior quality found in each Tiara, plus the convenient dinette floorplan with single private stateroom forward. This Tiara was recently repowered with a pair of freshly remanufactured Mercruiser inboard engines by Jasper, with less than 40 hours since the replacement (total hull hours approx . 1080).
The master stateroom features a pedestal berth, hanging lockers, hatch overhead and private access from the stateroom to the head compartment.  The comfortable salon is brightened by a full windshield. A very spacious cockpit allows plenty of room for dockside entertaining or Great Lakes angling. The flybridge is outfitted with an impressive command console, twin pedestal seats and a large forward bench.

Maintenance Notes from the Owner

This boater has been a diligent caretaker of this Tiara 3600 Convertible. Here are some very helpful notes from this boater.

SERVICE and REPLACEMENT HISTORY

Routine Maintenance       

  – Changed oil with Mercruiser 25-40 replaced oil filters before layup each year.
  – Did not change oil at 2023 layup.  Oil filter had less than 5 hours on it.
  – Top up electrolytes in batteries 2x per season
  – Cleaned water intake filters as needed.
  – Manually test function of bilge pumps each season.
  – Started and ran, under load, the generator.

  – Removed old engines and replaced with Jasper re-manufactured engines.
  – Owner cleaned hull while engines out.

  – Repaired starboard water intake scoop. Re-bedded both scoops.
  – Replaced packing material on both rudder pivots.
  – Re-secured muffler supports on both exhaust systems.

  – Replaced carpeting with best quality nylon carpeting in salon area of cabin.

01/13/22        

  – Replaced padding and vinyl on rear deck bolster.

02/14/22        

  – Replaced 12v indicator lights in breaker panel (Spemco - sku #2435-3-20-20310)

  – Replaced packings and clamps on shaft logs.

  – Checked battery charger output (OK)
  – Installed high water alarm, inspected fire suppression system and extinguisher.

03/11/22        

  – Hull bottom repaint (Pettit Hydrocoat)

08/11/22        

  – Replaced oil pressure sending unit on stbd engine. When engine replaced, the    new one installed on strbd was defective.  Pier 33 installed sending unit off from  old engine core. That unit never functioned correctly and continued to be erratic    on new engine.

09/09/22        

  – Installed new filter and o-ring on port transmission (part #879194241) 

02/28/23        

  – Sewed and installed fabric panel and zippers on door panel access to drive station

09/12/23        

  – Removed teak treds that run to drive station, sanded and treated them with teak  oil.  Reinstalled.

09/17/23        

  – Engine hours at 2023 season end:     P-1079.5   S-1080.5 

Replacement engines have approximately 31 hours on them since installed. 

Exterior and Interior Accommodations

TOPSIDES  

The distinctive profile of the Tiara 3600 Convertible tempts the tastes with an ideal combination of rugged traditional sportfish styling and luxurious Tiara design.

A well-proportioned cockpit allows easy boarding, plenty of room to fish or entertain.

The transom door provides swim platform access and access to the wide sidedecks is simple, with rugged non-skid underneath for sure footing when going forward.

The flybridge is arranged tournament-style, with twin captain's pedestal seats overlooking the cockpit and a full bench seat across the front of the impressive helm console. A sturdy bimini top and enclosure with Strataglass are in excellent condition, providing all-weather protection up top. Additional covers are found for the entire bridge console, plus helm seats.

DOWN BELOW

Salon entry is via a centerline sliding door with screen. Comfortable salon lounging is offered by a large futon, to starboard, with a hi-lo table offering serving convenience.

To port, a comfortable swivel barrel chair (recently reupholstered to match decor) completes the salon seating package. 

This 3600 features the forward salon windshield, offering panoramic dockside views, brightening the salon and galley areas. There's also a full windshield cover for privacy.

Step down to the galley level, with a fully equipped galley found to the portside, featuring an abundance of storage and countertop are, with the full-size fridge set-off to starboard.  Opposite the galley is plushly upholstered dinette. The dinette and galley area also features a gorgeous teak parquet floor.

The head compartment, complete with toilet, vanity and stall shower, is forward of the galley, portside.

Fully forward is found a luxurious master stateroom with queen pedestal berth, coordinated spreads curtains, dual hanging lockers and an abundance of under-berth storage.

Tiara's attention to finishing details is found throughout this sturdy convertible ... high-quality hardware and materials, plush comforts and total functionality.
