The Beneteau 411 has already joined the ranks of modern cruising classics as one of the more popular and successful 40-footers of all time. She's a large-volume yacht with a generous beam and ample height that's carried far aft for stability, allowing for a spacious cockpit (with 2 private cabins and two heads and a salon settee) and wide side decks providing a lively yet stable sailing performance. Her lines are clean and cockpit seats are comfy, providing easy maintenance and a luxurious appearance. With Roller Furling Mainsail and Headsail, all lines lead aft to the cockpit. Hawkeye was in fresh water in Lake Michigan for her entire life up until she was moved to Florida in July of 2020.

She sports a Bimini, Dodger and full Canvas Cockpit Enclosure.

In addition, these service and maintenance items have been addressed:

  –  Both AC units flushed and re-charged (2021)
  –  Refrigerator serviced (coolant)
  –  Replaced GPS (2021)
  –  Replaced Inverter (2021)
  –  Replaced Start and House Batteries (2021)  (House battery is now AGM)
  –  Replaced TV antenna (there are two flat screens) (2020)
  –  Re-did the bottom paint (2020) (they stripped the copper paint, primed and put on Petit)
  –  Refinished the teak (seats and swim platform) and companion way panels (winter 2022)
  –  Annual maintenance:  replace oil, replace impeller, check coolant
  –  The bottom has been diver cleaned every month since its arrival in Florida, he has also replaces the zincs annually.
  –  There is a full set of extra sails (main and genoa) that are in great shape.
  –  We will be replacing the Main Halyard and the Genoa outhaul lines.
  –  The slip in BSM could be retained (it’s a really nice location and large slip).
  –  Diver has indicated that the bottom paint should be good for another season.
  –  Owners Manual's onboard.
