Owners version of this Beneteau 45 F5 features two berths and two heads. This cruiser racer has the larger galley layout for extended cruising. The hull is a Bruce Farr design and the deck and interior was designed by Pinafarina Design Group. There are many upgrades from the standard vessel.
Descending down the companionway steps into the salon the galley is to starboard aft. On port aft is a stateroom with a hanging locker, storage drawers. The aft head is next to this cabin and has an ensuite shower.
Moving forward, midship, on port is the navigation station with chart table and seat. This location also has the ships breaker panel and electronics. Opposite the nav. station is the settee with a table that can be lowered for an additional berth. There is additional seating on the port side of the salon. Abundant storage is located throughout the salon and beneath the build in seating. The main cabin area features a built in skylight and many ports for natural light and ventilation.
Moving forward is the master's stateroom with a pullman berth, upgraded cabinets and lockers. Forward of this is the master's head compartment which is constructed as a one piece fiberglass enclosure. There is also access to the sail locker from inside the forward head.
The entire interior is high gloss cherry wood and veneers all in excellent condition. Additionally there is a custom ventilation system located at the deck and overhead to allow for air circulation on the interior of the vessel. The mill work and hardware are as good or better then new Beneteau's.
The galley are features double stainless sinks on a solid surface work area, hot and cold fresh water and also a seawater plumbing system with foot pump pedal. There is a three burner propane cooktop and gas oven combination. Freezer /refrigerator is located at the aft part of the galley.Lots of storage for dry goods.
Sails and Deck
This Beneteau has a full compliment of sails as follows:
Fully batten main sail 570 sf, lazy bag and lazy jacks,150% Furling Genoa 624 sf Spinnaker 1292 which has never been used. Spinnaker pole is stored on deck. Storm jib. All sails are in good working condition. Stored sails can be accessed in the forward sail locker located below deck between the forward head and the chain locker. This sail locker can be accessed from on deck and secondarily from inside the forward head.
Standing rigging is approximately 10 years old and in excellent condition. Running rigging is all serviceable and is rigged beneath a covered shroud back to the cockpit for easy of adjustment. The mast is keel stepped. Electric windlass in anchor locker below deck along with the genoa roller furling system.
There are three Lewmar 48 winches, two Lewmar 54 winches and one Lewmar 44
Double roller bow pulpit and three different sets of anchors and rode.
The cockpit features a large helm wheel, compass, engine controls. This area is self bailing and the storage hatches in the seats are designed with deep drainage to prevent water entry. Cockpit fold our table. Cockpit teak seating veneer and teak grates in the cockpit deck. No other exterior teak on this vessel. Dodger and bimini canvas/eisenglass need replacement.
Aft is a fold out swim platform with a wash down shower and swim ladder. Aft is the custom heavy aluminum extrusion dingy davit system with solar panels above. Safety rails and lines around the entire vessel and at the mast location.
Deck hardware are grade heavy duty equipment in serviceable condition.
Electrical is both 120 v and 12v. Batteries are located under the aft berth. Two 75w solar panels are located on top of the dingy davits. The MASE 6 KW generator has approximately 400 hours.Shore power cables and inlet.
This vessel is powered by a 60hp Perkins diesel engine with approximately 2000 hours.
The a/c system is a 12,000 btu system which is currently inoperable. The Watermaker located in the mechanical space aft produces 20 gals./hr. The mechanical space additionally houses the generator, fuel tank and other equipment. This is a very large and useful area for extended cruising.
This vessel also has a separate portable freezer for extended cruising that is include in the sale.
Electronic equipment includes Autohelm depth, wind speed / direction, speed log autopilot ST7000, helm compass Hand held Garmin GPS/plotter, Two VHF's.Radar is JRC LCD Radar 1500. Numerous repeaters are located at the navigation station.
