Boat Description

Ok- So I can here what you are saying from right here, shes old, she has petrol motors
So with that said let me ask you how many older motor yachts that you have looked at that are full of leaks, smelly, been used as a livaboard and you cannot walk through the boat cause of junk everywhere. You dont even want to think about entering the engine room and the sellers want an arm and a leg for them
NOW - Dont get me wrong she does not show like a brand new boat, she has some flaws - caulking, dents on the rub rail, minor gelcoat repairs - oldelectronics - could do with a interior fresh carpet - some stitching in the canvas needs addressing.
This boat is empty, you can go through all the draws, all the closets. The interior wood around the window frames IS DRY. You can crawl through the engine room in your Sunday best. The boat does not smell. The boat is big inside.
She would make a perfect livaboard
and what is even better she is valued at under 50K
Now if you are looking for a boat that fit all the parameters like above, and you want to own a boat that fits all the parameters like above.
The first person who has any idea about a boat that once was a fresh water boat that understands what poor condition a boat of this year can truly be will buy this boat once they see it.

Upper & Lower Deck

These boat screams out space, whether you are inside or outside.

The aft deck is big enough for a barn dance, the area deck is fully enclosed and is great real estate the aft deck is protected with a fiberglass hartop

Up a couple of molded step and you are at the upper helm station.

The helm is an inline helm all the shifters and throttle seem to be smooth. The electronics are dated but consist on a GPS Garmin 230 - R21 XX Raster Scan Radar Icom IC-M127. For gauges you will see, temp, oil, volts, fuel, RPMs the RCL 100 point pad for the remote light, Ritchie compass and fire boy system.

The upper and lower deck has an enclosure and from what I see it is in great shape.

Once again volume comes to mind when you enter the motor yacht. There are large side salon windows along with the forward windshield, so there is an abundance of natural light coming into the yacht. Aft on the salon bulkhead is the entertainment center, there is an L shape salon sofa / sleeper on the starboard side, two floating barrel chairs on the port side and the salon ice maker. Forward on the port side is the lower interior helm station.

Please note that the interior is dry. I have not seen any wet, rotting veneer inside the vessel. I do have many extra photos of areas around the windows, under the windshield and all the little hide away corners where leaks commonly appear that I can share.

The galley is down, with a full stand up Norcold fridge freezer. There is no rust spots around the frame in the fridge, there are lots of pull out draws and cupboard in the galley. The galley offers a Carousel convection oven, two side by side stainless steel sinks, a two burner cooktop and the galley sole is a wooden sole.

Forward is the guest stateroom. Your guest will be very comfortable in the stateroom, a large queen bed, lots a storage and closet space. Your guests will also have their own bathroom with a stall shower. The doors for the forward stateroom and the forward head are solid privacy doors

The owners stateroom is aft this is a full beam master, with a solid privacy door. Like the rest of the yacht there is a lot of room in the stateroom, plenty of closets, pull out draws, nice veneer wood finish everywhere. Of to the side in this stateroom is the master head with a stall shower.

Hull & Deck

The 42 has a nice walk around. The windshield does not seem to be pitted and has a cover. There is a sun pad forward, windlass, with a foot control a good solid bow rail to hold onto.

Engine Room

There engine room is super clean, motors are super clean, easy access to the fire suppression system, the battery charger, the water heater. there are no wire hanging all over the place. The engine room on the motor yacht is a real pleasure to go to.
