The Catalina 350 MkII is a newer design incorporating many features usually found only on a much larager vessel. This spacious cabin layout features a forward center line queen size berth with lockers, drawers, cedar line hanging closet and a private access to the head. the head features a vanity counter, a full medicine cabinet, and enclosed stall shower with folding doors and a Raitan Electric head with macerator. Moving aft, into the lounge, the settee features a separate dining and cocktail table, with the conversion to a double berth. To starboard, the game table lowers to stow away to become a full length settee or single berth. Full U shaped galley to starboard of the companionway. The Catalina 350 includes ample storage and ventilation throughout. Carrying her 13 beam aft, the aft stateroom is even more spacious than ever. Lending to a 46 x 71 athwartship berth and hanging locker with storage.

The Catalina 350 MkII interior is built with a teak veneer bulkhead, and sold teak cabinetry and moldings. Varnished teak interiors are durable and easier to touch-up, allowing you to maintain that proper yacht finish.

Deck and Hull

The Catalina hull is one piece sold laminate FRP construction, with a solid lead keel and spade rudder. The deck is also a single piece of FRP construction that utilizes double scored end grain balsa coring for weight savings and stiffness. In areas of high load and deck hardware, it is solid FRP construction. Deck hardware is drilled and tapped into laminate plates, or it is thru-bolted.

The hull-to-deck marriage is a hatbox-style, protected with an aluminum rub rail with vinyl insert.

Sails and Rigging

The Catalina 350 MkII has a clear anodized aluminum double spreader, deck stepped rig with in-column spreaders. Standing rigging is 1/19 SS wire. Running rigging is braided Dacron. Most all lines run aft to cockpit to sheet stoppers and two-speed self tailing Harken winches. The main sail is fine tuned by way of the Garhauer rigid boom vang and Garhauer adjustable main sheet traveler.
