A smooth fast dry ride is what makes a Contender the favorite of sports fisherman everywhere. Built to fish, and built to last, a Contender gets the job done on the bay.

The high performance hull and generous 25’6” LOA combine to deliver an extremely smooth and dry ride. Among its most impressive characteristics, however, may be its speed and efficiency. Top end is high 60’s with the single Yamaha F300 with very little fuel burn, and with an option for a F350, it appeals to the speed demon and fuel conscious buyers alike. In keeping with Contender’s tradition of hard-­-core fishing boats, the 25 Bay offers all of the amenities you would expect in a larger bay boat, while incorporating some previously unseen features to accommodate the whole family, too.

The large casting platforms – forward and aft – provide ample room for several fishermen without ever feeling crowded. The use of covering boards and bolster pads along the full length of the cockpit mean that you will never beat up your knees while fighting a fish from inside the boat.
