FISHER 37 Pilothouse Ketch has the best of both worlds. She is a grand sailor, that points surprisingly well and an all-weather comfortable cruiser with great visibility. The year-round protection of her enclosed pilothouse offers comfort in all climates. With a soft prow and canoe stern she is the epitome of a robust all-weather British-built boat. She will take you wherever you desire to go and bring you back in safety and comfort.

"Maggie T" is ketch rigged, making her sail plan easier for single handing and increased off wind performance.

The Fisher 37 Pilothouse hull is hand laid GRP. From the waterline down is finished in clear gel coat. Some 6 tons of cast iron ballast is fully enclosed within the fiberglass keel and and completely covered over with more laminations making it part of the hull structure. The structural bulkheads, of marine plywood are fully bonded to the hull. Robust double skin GRP bulwarks, incorporate the hull to deck joint and are moulded to the deck, finishing by capping with 25mm thick teak.

Teak rubbing strake and Teak complete the bulwark. The deck is robust hand-laid GRP moulding. Balsa is incorporated in all horizontal areas for stiffing and marine plywood fills in the deck fittings. Heavily stressed areas are reinforced with unidirectional glass. The deck is completely bonded to the hull. In addition it is bolted throughout the whole hull to deck joint. Bulkheads are laminated to the deck for a heavy duty bonding.
