40 Freedom Yachts Freedom 40/40 97 Circe
$10,000 Price Reduction
This was the last of the Freedom models. The 40/40 was built to high standards and is a performance cruiser. Self-tacking fractional jib makes tacking as easy as turning the wheel. Large single wheel, 1/2 turn lock to lock, finger tip steering. 13.5 beam and 69 lead fin keel with 45% ballast ratio makes a stiff boat. If you appreciate a boat that is fast, yet easy to sail, this is it. Every time I go aboard this boat, I think 43 44, not 40? High quality build, fourteen stainless steel ports, five hatches, beautiful teak and holly floors, teak paneling, stainless steel handrails, 30 high stanchions, gelcoat non-skid, built-in swim step and ladder. Cockpit will easily accommodate eight people.
