This beautiful 1938 HackerCraft 22 twin cockpit Mahogany runabout boat is in outstanding condition and is perfectly suited for someone looking for a fast, unique, one of a kind mahogany boat with provenance. This boat was designed in 1938 by the HackerCraft company specifically for the Edward Kerr family, the Michigan supplier of the stainless and chrome hardware on Hacker boats. The resulting Gentlemans Racer design itself is truly unique and one of a kind; at 22 feet in length, it is configured as a twin-cockpit, not triple is typical at this length. This one of a kind design, as confirmed by the HackerCraft boat company, yields true gentlemans racer performance. The twin cockpit hull design sits low in the water and the modern 350 cubic inch Commander engine propels the boat to speeds of up to 50 MPH. With its original hull, the boat is completely refinished inside and out and is in exceptionally good cosmetic and mechanical condition. With its custom built trailer, this museum piece is ready to go. Service records and many more photos are available so please contact us.
