Salon / Cockpit

The Hatteras 53 MY was one of Hatteras's most popular models and from the moment to walk up the "Tide ride" stairs and enter the pilothouse/ salon, it is obvious why. Spacious just begins to touch on the size and functionality of this space. Large sofa, chairs, bar, tables and LCD TV make the yacht feel comfortable and yet still offers room to entertain lots of guests. The pilothouse offers the owner/captain the ability to get out of the weather as well as interact with the guests.

As a 53 this boat was extremely special but with the addition of the cockpit, she is on a whole new level. Access to the water and the dinghy not to mention handling lines while maintaining the large aft deck, are some of the great reasons that this addition sets this boat apart.

Accommodations

The yacht has 3 full staterooms, 2 with ensuite heads with showers and 1 full head and shower in the companionway, making for 3 full heads. The master stateroom is aft with large queen sized berth and lots of hanging and drawer storage. The middle stateroom features side by side berths and storage and the forward stateroom features over/under berths hanging and drawer storage and the stacked washer/dryer.

Galley

The galley has been completely updated with Sub Zero Refrigeration (2 drawers - refrigerator, 2 drawers - freezer), tons of storage, dishwasher, wine cooler, microwave, solid surface countertops and full size SS oven with warming trays. The RAISED dinette seats 4 and provides views to the outside. Custom teak and holly flooring, generator room access including the batteries, make this a fully functional galley/dinning area.

Mechanical Equipment

With "split" engine rooms, she has excellent access to most mechanical equipment. Servicing the stabilizers, main engines and some electrical breakers are a snap. All 4 turbos on the main engines were replaced in May, 2018. The main batteries were moved to the cockpit during the extension.
