Accommodations and Layout

Fat Happy sleeps a party of 10 in five staterooms. Twin staterooms forward may also be used as Crew. Entering the main salon from the cockpit through sliding glass door, the large wrap a round leather sofa is to port with ottoman style coffee table (storage under). Across the salon to starboard is the entertainment center with flatscreen TV on lift, and the day head aft. Moving forward is the large galley to port with pass through bar style counter with two stools. Across from the galley to starboard is the L shape dinette with table and seating for 5. Also to starboard aft of the dinette is a spiral staircase up to the enclosed bridge.

Moving forward down the stairs to the lower deck is accommodations with twin guest cabins port starboard, both with queen berths and ensuite head and shower. All the way forward are two more cabins with upper and lower berths sharing a head and shower. One or both cabins could be used as crew accommodations. Moving aft through the companion way is a combo Washer/Dryer with glass front refrigerator or wine cooler above. All the way aft and down a few steps is the full beam master with centerline walk around king berth, built in settee to port and the beautiful ensuite head to starboard with large glass enclosed and tiled shower with built in seat.

Back up to the salon, walk up the spiral staircase to the enclosed bridge with walk around decks and excellent visibility. The helm console is extremely well layed out and includes the MTU instrumentation, KaMeWa controls, and all new electronics including dual Garmin 7616 multi touch widescreen chart plotters, ICom VHF radio with command mic and new Sidepower bow thruster. There is a very comfortable leather helm seat and aft to port is a built in leather L shaped lounge with table. Across to starboard is a wet bar with sink. Walk out to the aft bridge deck through a glass sliding door there is a full control station for fishing or docking, and down the ladder to the huge cockpit with transom door and gate leading out to full beam swim platform. The cockpit includes a full tackle center with sink and bait prep, live well, freezer, rod holders and lots of storage. Open the step door and walk in to the huge ship like engine room that must be seen to be appreciated! The Heesen pedigree is very evident here from her MTUs and KaMeWa jets to her twin Northern Lights generators and impressive fuel and bilge manifold systems.

Moving forward along the wide side decks is the spacious fore deck with built in seating at house front, huge pulpit and stainless bow rails, and anchor windlass with ground tackle and bow roller recessed in deck.
