Accommodations and Layout

Private V-berth forward and wide settee berth to port in the salon. The starboard settee is part of a U-shaped dinette, which converts to a large double berth. Storage is extremely generous. A hanging locker and chest of drawers is forward on the port side. Many other drawers and shelves are conveniently located throughout. There is a roomy head with stand-up shower located to starboard. The U-shaped galley is to port with sink, gimballed stove and a very large icebox. To starboard is the navigation station, which is L-shaped to provide plenty of working area. On deck, the the 36 Hunter is designed and rigged for comfortable, easy handling. Main and jib halyards are led to the cockpit, as is the mid-boom mainsheet. The vessel has two large opening hatches and twelve opening ports to provide plenty of ventilation. Wraparound coamings, bimini top and spray dodger make the T-shaped cockpit dry and comfortable. Pedestal wheel steering has grab bar, lighted compass and table.
