Cruisers 1999 Island Packet 380

Off Market since May 22nd 2019

To see full description of this boat from the seller click on the Seller Description tab above.

One of only two, 38s for sale in the Mid Atlantic, Adagio is very well maintained, and yes - immaculate. Compared to most other Island Packets on the market, in addition to all standard equipment, Adagio has MarineAir 16,000 BTU Reverse Cycle Heat and Air. Then, in addition, an Espar Diesel Heater, which is a real benefit when sailing in Spring and Fall.

With a Doyle Stack Pack, and Harken Batt-Cars, you have a full roach main for powerful sailing, and it can be dropped in an instant.

The Island Packet 380, built from 2000-2004, replaced the 37 and is Island Packets largest yacht with a single head. Consequently, the 380 has plenty of elbow and storage room and an especially large galley plus a forward head with a luxurious shower stall.

Compared to the IP40 of the same vintage, the 380 offers the sugar scoop transom; Hoyt boom and improved sailing characteristics. The 380 is bigger than the current 370 having a foot longer waterline and 85 sq ft more sailing area.

I personally recommend Adagio to any discriminating Buyer she is a must see yacht!!!!!

Competitively priced, Adagio should be on your list of vessels to inspect.

The head has two doors: one from the saloon and another from the owners forward cabin. Ventilation is great with both an opening hatch and port. The Main Saloon is next aft with facing settees. There is lots of stowage both under and behind settees as well as cabinets and book shelves over. The Port settee pulls out to make a comfortable double berth. The clever dining table is to port and folds up against the bulkhead when not in use creating a very open saloon for relaxing and entertaining. A large opening hatch and 6 opening ports keep everything nice. A large chart drawer is located under the starboard settee.

Theaft facing Nav Station is on port with a good sized desk and cabinet. The Electrical Panel is above the desk within easy reach of the navigator.

Across on Starboard is a large U shaped Galley with 2 big sinks, 3-burner propane stove and oven, and a huge refrigerator and separate freezer. There is dinnerware storage, Paper Towel Holder and an opening port and hatch to keep the cook cool plus a real pull-out trash can.

The center-line Companionway divides the Galley from the Nav Station and drops down over the Engine Compartment, You havefull access to the entire engine and drive train. The fuel filter and electric fuel pump are mounted on the starboard side access door.

The private, athwartship Aft Cabin is behind the Nav Station. It also has an opening hatch and 2 opening ports. The berth is large and comfortable for a couple. As you enter, there is a hanging locker and bureau arrangement plus a super clever pull out sink with Hot/Cold Pressure Water.

The Cockpit is big and comfortable for sailing, entertaining and long enough that you can stretch out and nap during your off-watch time. There is a drop down swim ladder on the transom and very comfortable stern rail seats with especially nice cushions.
