Since purchasing this vessel in 2018, the owner of Just In Time has spent more than $40k to update and upgrade the boat for his personal enjoyment. He had planned to be able to spend the winters on the boat, but his work schedule has not allowed him as much free time as he had hoped. Therefore, he has reluctantly decided to sell this beautiful yacht. Jefferson Yachts was founded in 1982 by Leon Shaw. He imported and marketed a series of Taiwan-built trawlers and motor yachts, all manufactured in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The company was known for well-built and well-engineered vessels at a reasonable price. The 52 Pilothouse Special Edition (SE) was part of that tradition of quality. The yacht has proven, but not flashy systems and equipment including the twin Cummins MercCruiser Diesels and Westerbeke Generator. The Jefferson line grew until increased costs and the 10% luxury tax of the early 1990s resulted in a slowing market for the boats. The company closed in 2012. The Jefferson 52 Pilothouse SE is destined to be a classic cruising yacht.

Jefferson 52 Vessel Walkthrough - Interior

Entering the boat from the aft deck you will step into the main salon. The first thing you may notice are the beautiful wood floors and tasteful nautical area rugs throughout. On the starboard side you will find a small settee with the larger wrap-around settee and coffee table on the port side, which also makes into a double bed. Just ahead is the galley on the starboard side and the TV/ entertainment area on the port side. Moving forward and up a few steps you will reach the pilothouse with helm, helm chair, settee and table. The table drops down and the owner has used that as a base for an air mattress. This makes this area into another sleeping platform. You will walk down a curved staircase to the sleeping cabins. The Master cabin is to your right, with queen bed and separate shower room and toilet area, with a sink joining the two in the middle. The VIP guest cabin also features a queen bed with full head and shower. You can access the large upper deck from the pilothouse by going up a few steps. There you will find the dinghy on a cradle, the upper helm and lots of seating for guests. From the pilothouse, you can also walk to the bow area and ground tackle through the port side door and via the Portuguese forward deck.
52 Jefferson Pilothouse Accommodations

Just In Time offers two queen cabins. The Master stateroom is amidships with ensuite mater head and shower. The Guest stateroom is forward along with a head and shower. In the pilothouse, the settee and table can be converted to a bed by lowering the table and placing an air mattress on top. The aft salon area has a NEW , custom-made L-shaped sofa that converts to a double berth. The boat can easily sleep 6 people, but may also accommodate 8 when both settees are converted.
