Accommodations

Accommodations
Sabre is very well known for the exceptional wood craftsmanship that defines the interiors of their yachts. They use beautiful lightly stained cherry wood throughout the boat that exudes warmth and richness. A solid teak and holly cabin sole compliments the cherry wood nicely. All cabinets have dovetail joinery; hanging closets are lined with cedar; and countertops are of Corian. Ash battens line the hull and brighten the interior in both the fore and aft staterooms. Stainless portlights were custom developed for Sabre and again, add to the overall opulence of the Sabre 386.

The master stateroom is forward with a proper V-berth that is at a logical height for ease of entry. Private vanity and sink are located on bulkhead. Overhead Lewmar hatch and opening portlights provide ample light and ventilation. There is plenty of storage for both hanging and folded clothing.

Main salon is spacious with a beautiful cored wood fold-away table to port. Portside settee is convertible into a comfortable bunk. Salon easily sits 6 people for dinner. Aft facing nav station is located to starboard with proper navigation desk. Galley is located just aft and relates very well to salon allowing the family to converse easily at mealtime.

A spacious head with electric flush toilet is located to starboard by companionway. A roomy separate shower stall makes the head as comfortable as the rest of the boat. Convenient storage for toiletry items.

The aft stateroom provides an extremely comfortable guest stateroom with queensize berth for two. Opening hatch above berth provides refreshing sea breezes at night. Cedar lined hanging locker.

  – Blue Fabric Cushions
  – Electric Flush Head
  – Wood Magazine Rack (behind fold-away table)

Manufacturer Provided Description

The Sabre Design Team and Jim Taylor Yacht Design have again joined forces to create a new Sabre sailing yacht. Design work began in early 2003 and the exciting new Sabre 386 will be presented to the public in January 2004. As her design evolved, the desire for luxurious accommodations, blended with great performance characteristics, rose to the top of the list of priorities. Her performance is assured by the pedigree of her designers who?s successes are already well known. And as to her luxurious accommodations, Sabre?s reputation for building high quality sailing yachts since 1970 should assure any sailor of the quality and integrity of her build.
