Rory Mhor is a Bob Salthouse design and was built by Ray Johnson Engineering. She is a proven blue water vessel with a 6mm rolled steel plate hull. Rory Mhorwas used by her current owners for approximately 1.5 years as our production vessel while filming the 6 part adventure travel documentary series My Pacific Quest for National Geographic (Over the Horizon). Last commercial survey was in July of 2016 and had a major refit in 2002 and again in 2013. During the expedition, Rory Mhor sailed from New Zealand, Fiji, Tonga, Wallis Futuna, Gilbert Islands and finally onto the Marshall Islands, where she is currently moored. This expedition was around 8,000nm.
