You are looking at a well cared for 1997 Sea Ray 370 Express Cruiser. The seller has had his fun but is getting out of boating!
Lots of info on this beauty! No matter where you look on this boat, there's something that says you're traveling in luxurious style. This boat is a well-appointed vessel both inside and out! It's a very versatile and flexible boat with the open express cruiser deck configuration letting the boat to be used for fishing, diving or as a comfortable cruiser. The boat can comfortably accommodate four people and their gear with ease for extended travels belowdeck with the extensive 14-foot beam!
The seller is very proud of this one. The diesel engines are the main reason he bought it and they have proven very well for him. How can you go wrong with the Caterpillar 3126 CTA with on 750 hours on them?
Upon boarding the boat, one of the first things you'll notice is the bi-level cockpit and helm area that can easily accommodate more than 10 people. Both the helm and port side forward facing seats, plus the port aft facing hold two abreast as well as the cockpit is equipped with the standard bench seat that can stowed away into the transom when you are out fishing. The boat does have the fishing package which includes a livewell and fishbox in the cockpit sole, plus a bait preparation station immediately aft of the helm seat. The swim platform has a hideaway ladder. There is a hot and cold transom shower and freshwater washdown as well as the cockpit is equipped with the optional raw water washdown. There is even a standard freshwater outlet in the anchor locker on the foredeck to keep your anchor clean. There is a freezer located under the helm seat with abundant storage throughout the cockpit. Rod holders are located underneath the gunwale as well as there is a storage compartment built into the cabin saloon floor where more rods can be stored while underway.
The helm is equipped with radar, chart plotter, GPS, and a VHF radio and a multifunction instrument. In addition, there is a power-operated windshield vent and remote-control ACR spotlight, and a remote-control head at the helm for the Clarion audio system.
The boat is equipped with the optional Caterpillar hp diesel option and is able to hit almost 40 mph in ideal sea conditions. Getting to the engines is made simple as the entire helm-area floor is raised via an electric lift to expose the entire engine compartment. There's also a small access hatch between the seats for routine fluid checks, filter changes, etc... The wide beam on this boat provides even better access to work on both engines by providing full access from front to back and all around. You certainly won't have trouble getting to those hard to reach spots! The diesel generator is located to port with more than ample room to access all points. As a similar feature to pretty much every area on this boat, there is abundant storage in the engine room.
Moving down into the cabin, you'll be treated with roomy, plush comfort with a full list of amenities. There is both headroom and more than enough room to spread out throughout the cabin. On the immediate starboard side, you'll find a comfortable convertible dinette that has a pull-out sleeper component. While there is extensive storage underneath these seats, under two of the seats, the marine reverse cycle A/C & heat unit and the central vacuum are mounted. Above the dinette, there is even more storage with biult-in cabinets, and another curtained shelf above the cabinets.
Opposite the dinette on the port side, is a fully equipped galley that includes a large refrigerator with a separate freezer compartment, Corian countertops, a two-burner stove, a microwave oven, a coffee maker and a deep-basin sink. There are cabinet doors that store the microwave and TV/VCR combo so neither component sticks out nor gets in the way. The sink basin also has a filler panel to create a clean look in the galley along with having no exposed appliances. This is a great feature providing the ever-important large area of counter space while preparing meals. The boat's main electrical panel is located on the left side of the galley. All of the electrical systems are controlled from here, including the premium Clarion stereo system and the included six-CD changer and a booster amp that powers eight speakers throughout the boat. There is an additional subwoofer located in the cockpit.
Moving forward, the full-size berth features coordinated pillows, sheets and a bedspread. The forward stateroom can be separated from the main saloon by sliding door that moves along a track creating even more privacy. There is an abundant amount of storage with a large, hanging locker with a small three-drawer cabinet on the starboard side. Opposite of this locker, there is another locker that is almost half the height that can be used for hanging more clothing. There is a HUGE storage compartment underneath the bed, where the components from the removable dinette in the main saloon are placed. Even after these components are stowed away, there are several other divided storage areas that provide more than enough space. Additionally, the steps to the berth lift to expose even more storage area. Overhead the berth, there is a hatch with screen and cover to provide more privacy and ventilation.
The roomy head is aft of the galley and features a VacuFlush toilet with integrated lid, a Corian vanity top and a fiberglass shower with a sliding, curved acrylic door.
Overall, this boat is an excellent example of an express cruiser that provides both style and flexibility. The 14-foot beam provides this boat with a solid and stable ride that can take on almost any type of seas. This boat has been very well maintained both mechanically and cosmetically and will disappoint no one. The "Dawg House" is certainly a well-equipped boat ready for those long weekends out on the water to go fishing, cruising, or both!
