I wish everyone kept their boats this nicely. She shines like new on the hull sides. Her engine purrs like a kitten and only has 241 original hours! She's fully equipped with modern electronics including a Garmin color touchscreen GPSMap 5212, radar, sonar, chartplotter, XM, fusion stereo, a new power amp and AUTOPILOT! Chugging along a creek with friends while the autopilot holds your heading is a wonderful experience. She's got two new AGM batteries from 2019 and a new smart two bank charger. To keep her topped up when she's in the slip there's a true 30A shore power connection on the starboard side of the console. Other thoughtful options are the crystal clear three sided spray curtains, the console and forward seat covers, and beefy boarding steps. Includes Magic Tilt tandem axle trailer with updated disc brakes and actuator and three year old tires.

Manufacturer Info

The Shamrock 246 Open comes with a helm console with full instrumentation, a compass, and room to mount electronics. The hinged easy-access motorbox with cup holders and storage accommodates adjustable captain's helm seats or a leaning post. A versatile bow platform can serve as a large casting deck, a comfortable U-shaped lounge with a pedestal table, or a roomy sunpad. A convenient enclosed head in the helm console makes the 246 Open ideal for fishing families. An optional locking electronics box provides added security for accessories.

Broker Notes

This boat was built way ahead of it's time. The aft facing mezzanine seat is something we're only starting to see again on center console boats. The freshwater engine flush allows easy maintenance while in the slip or on a trailer. Worried that the boat won't start on the ramp? Start it up at home and ensure she's ready to go! The live well/bait prep station is huge and could easily double as a fishbox if you fill the two forward fishboxes. She's got hydraulic steering, trim tabs, and a dripless shaft seal. Drink holders, which used to be an afterthought, are thoughtfully located on the console and on the engine box. With her hull tunnel she only draws 24", so all those skinny water spots you want to explore are easily accessible. Just a really well thought out boat that's seen excellent care.
