GULL LAKE MARINE and our customers are really stoked on these new SouthWind 229 Hybrid deckboats.
Superior quality, designed for rough salt water conditions, we like the very low maintenence features, the ride, and overall quality. Very nice and roomy boats on the water.
Built using all fiberglass and composite materials including carbon fiber and kevlar similar to how Cobalts are made, Very dry boat, even in bigger choppy waters, Syntex marine vinyls are resistant to fade, staining, and very durable, identical to what MasterCraft offers. The Yamaha 150 offer plenty of power, is very quiet and sips gas. Features our customers like best, Easy no-skid flooring just hoses off, 4 gates for access from any dock, the built in features like the power bimini, changing room, and ski locker, very easy to handle with the hydraulic steering. If you are looking for that all-around boat and just dont like an aluminum Tritoon type, this SouthWind 229 might be your boat.
Features Options include: Custom tandem trailer w/swing tongue, Yamaha 150EFI 4-stroke Xlong engine pkg W/hydraulic steering, rear sunpad with storage and changing room, huge ski locker in floor, power bimini top, integrated docking lights, V-hull deck boat for control and ride improvement, all fiberglass constructed (no wood), non skid gel floors, Adjustable captains chairs, two tables, Fusion sound system w/bluetooth, full mooring cover. A full equipment listing and specifications sheet is available on request.
Come try one of these new Southwind boats today, we just took in a full truckload shipment after our first two orders sold out. 21 and 23 sizes in stock. This is a pretty cool boat that could fit the needs of a lot of boaters in Michigan, it caught our eye after becoming the fastest selling deckboat in the Florida market, one dominated by Hurricane, but the quality and no wood construction is really taking notice down there.
