This Tartan 34 Classic “Select” is hull number 172 and was constructed in 1971. She was PURCHASED NEW by her CURRENT OWNERS and has sailed only in the FRESH WATER of the GREAT LAKES and stored MAST DOWN every year since new.. 525 T34's were built between 1967 and 1978. The T34C was introduced in 1967 and in the Southern Ocean Racing Circuit’s 1968 race, a T34C won her class. Her design has gone on to win numerous offshore races, including the Port Huron-Mackinac and the Marblehead-Halifax races, among many others. At least one circumnavigation and many Atlantic and Pacific passages.

Accommodations
The forward cabin has a V berth with drawers below and teak shelves above port and starboard for storage. Ventilation and light are provided by a large opening hatch and opening port to starboard. Next aft to starboard is a three drawer storage chest with shelf on top. Across the port is the enclosed head with sink and a porta-potty.
The main salon has a straight settee to starboard and an L shaped settee to port with a bulkhead mounted dining table. The galley is to starboard at the base of the companionway and across to port is a navigation station with a quarter berth behind. The cabin sole is cork.. Interior fabric is Teal and in very good condition.
Galley
Galley is at the base of the companionway and has a S/S sink, ice box, storage shelves and drawers and a 2 burner alcohol stove.
