The Tartan 37 is a classic Sparkman Stephens design from a well-regarded builder and is perfect for cruising in safety comfort or club racing. With over 450 Tartan 37 built from 1976 to 1988, she is a well built, well-mannered fast cruising sailboat. Fast and comfortable with a skeg hung rudder, she has a 42 draft (board up) for access to the most desirable anchorages, and a 79 draft (board down) for maximum stability and performance in all conditions. Below decks she has an abundance of beautiful teak joiner work. Pearl of Oakland has been consistently upgraded with an electric Maxwell windless, refrigeration and stove replaced in 2008, new head in 2015, radar, auto-pilot, Weems and Plath clock, barometer, plus gimbaled light and flower holder, Lewmar hatches replaced in 2010, dingy, outboard and spinnaker with an ATN sock. Also features a full Cover Craft taupe sunbrella canvas suite including sail cover, offshore dodger, cockpit shade, grill cover and binnacle cover. Located in a desirable slip at the Berkeley Marina, this Tartan 37 is well outfitted and ready to sail.
