About the construction process, from Vicem Yachts:

For 3,000 years Turkish artisans have finely honed their experiences in working with natural materials. Vicem celebrates this storied tradition of wood working craftsmanship by taking traditional methods and adding a contemporary, high tech twist: The Cold-Molded process.

This operation simply involves applying layers of thin solid-wood veneers, oriented at different angles, to be saturated by epoxy over a computer-designed mold. This marriage of engineered woods with formulated resins yields a hull that is lighter, stronger and more durable than traditionally built fiberglass boats. To this are added the widely acclaimed advantages in comfort, noise reduction, and insulation from the elements.

Every piece aboard a Vicem is made and installed by hand from the creation of the multi-layered mahogany-epoxy composite hull, to the carving of the furniture. We invite you to look deep inside our cabinetry, to explore the recess of our bilges and you will find a yacht built without compromise.

Stepping on board this custom Vicem sportfish is easily done from either side with a removable boarding step (this clips on the inside of the teak covering boards) or aft via the full transom door.

At the transom, there is a center line live well and excellent lazarette access in the teak floor. The lazarette houses the five cruisair compressors, battery charger and other standard equipment.

The custom fighting chair - recently refinished - is mounted between two macerated, recessed fish boxes. There is plenty of room in this cockpit for movement around the fighting chair. Behind the chair, which has a removable footrest, is the top load freezer, engine access and to starboard the tackle prep center with drawers and cutting board. To port is the fresh/raw water washdown and cablemaster access.

Coming up the forward facing ladder comprised of large teak steps, you come upon a surprisingly large flybridge. Two captains chairs at the helm with space in front and behind to get around. To port, forward of the ladder is the wet bar with storage and the walkway to seating that can seat 7 adults comfortably.

The bridge hard top underside is painted to match the hull and above the helm is recessed teaser reel access.

Entrance to the salon is to starboard and when you step in you immediately notice the beautiful mahogany interior. Immediately to starboard is the wine cooler, glass storage and recessed flat screen television. Easily accessible from the teak and holly soled entrance is an ice maker immediately to port. Further to port is the L-shaped sofa which wraps around a small custom table. The underneath of the sofa is dedicated completely to storage. The area is covered with tabbed carpet from the entrance to the galley.

The salon is outfitted with surround sound, teak valances and a light headliner with a safety handrail running the length of the salon.

Down the companionway, to starboard is the master stateroom with full walk-around berth. The master features a cedar lined hanging closet and a small vanity neatly concealed in the rich mahogany. Forward is the en-suite master bath with separate shower.

Across from the master, to port, is the crew quarters. this cabin houses two full length bunks and storage. It has been used as storage for the current owner.Just forward of the bunk cabin is the 2nd head. This, too, has a separate shower.

Forward is the extremely generous VIP cabin. Beautiful mahogany lines this cabin at every angle. The berth is accessible by step-ups on both sides with storage drawers underneath. To starboard is a vanity and cedar lined closet with rod storage forward of that. To port is a cedar lined hanging closet and forward of that (opposite the rod storage) is a long, sectioned storage area.

Moving forward through the salon brings us to the galley and dinette. The L-shaped dinette is to starboard and galley is to port. The galleys teak and holly sole extends to the steps down to the companionway.

The galley comprises of a two burner stove, microwave, two drawer refrigerators, large freezer and storage drawers. The stainless steel sink sits in the corner of the galley with plentiful corian counter top space surrounding.

Accessible from both sides of the bridge is the custom tower featuring ZF electronic engine controls, iCom VHF and compass. The deck is non-skid and bolster is padded. Also located on the tower is a fresh water washdown.
