This model is hull #1 of only 6 that were made by Gulfstar. The seller believes she has been across the Atlantic in the past. She is fitted with a 934 gallon fuel tank and powered by twin Perkins that sip fuel at 5-6 gallons per hour. A Kohler 18.5kW generator powers all systems when offshore.

The "Islander" featurs three staterooms, 2 heads, galley, dinette, lower indoor helm and full beam aft stateroom, with an enclosed fly-bridge and aft deck under hardtop.

The galley has a combination refrigerator/freezer, deep freezer for extended trips, microwave, oven, stove and trash compactor. The ice maker is located on the fly-bridge after deck.

Almost all of the electronics were updated in 2012/2013 and there is redundancy of 2 or 3 of the same systems.
