Description

The vessel features a spacious center cockpit, fully protected by a hard dodger and Bimini amidships. All sail controls are conveniently led to the cockpit, ensuring ease of handling. Engine access is facilitated by raising the floor of the cockpit, providing full standing room when opened. Additionally, an extensive drain system is in place to prevent water from entering the engine room.

Below decks, forward lies a versatile V-berth cabin that can be configured as two separate berths or a large Queen with the filler cushion. A retractable bow thruster is positioned just aft of the forward watertight bulkhead. This cabin is equipped with its own dedicated 220V AC/heat system. Adjacent to the cabin, to port, is a head, while a hanging locker is situated to starboard.

A second watertight bulkhead separates the forward head from the main saloon, accessible through a gasketed door. The main saloon, located amidships, boasts a U-shaped settee and table to port, and a sofa with adjacent lockers to starboard. The sofa doubles as a pilot berth when needed. Storage options abound, with lockers and storage areas located above the seating area, under and behind the settees, and below the sole. A 24-volt deep freezer/refrigerator is concealed under the settee cushions.

Moving aft, a full navigation station with a pull-out seat and a large hanging locker is positioned to starboard, while a deep U-shaped galley is situated to port. The galley is well-appointed with Corian counters, a double sink, a front-opening 24-volt stainless two-drawer refrigerator, and a stainless steel GN induction stove with oven. Additional features include a 220-volt microwave/convection oven, extraction cowl, and a 220-volt combination clothes washer/dryer, all complemented by ample storage in lockers and drawers.

Continuing aft through a passageway to starboard, a SEA berth and locker space are provided opposite the engine room bulkhead. Beneath the SEA berth lies a gas and watertight locker housing two Lithium Ion 12-volt batteries. The third watertight bulkhead separates the SEA berth from the master cabin, with a gasketed door for added security.

To starboard, directly aft of the bulkhead, a large hanging locker is conveniently situated. Opposite is the second head, equipped with similar features as the forward head.

The Master Cabin, located aft, features a queen bed to port and a cushioned sitting area with a desk/vanity/swing-out stool to starboard. Storage options abound, with space under the berth for charts, luggage, etc., and access to the rudder quadrant, facilitating the installation of the emergency tiller. This cabin also boasts its own dedicated AC/heat system.

The last watertight bulkhead separates the master cabin from the on-deck accessed lazarette, which offers ample storage for recreational supplies, outboard, bicycles, fenders, lines, and more. Additionally, a private head with a shower is situated along the port side, just forward upon entering the master cabin.

Owner Comments

AMEL Super Maramu 2000, built in 2003, registered in London, UK, No VAT paid. I have owned and lived on board for over three years, and have extensively maintained, upgraded and replaced her systems so she really is ready to go wherever and whenever you wish to go. I have tried where possible to keep Her as original as possible. All parts used are either Amel sourced new parts, or high quality new alternatives. I know it is a cliché, but literally no shortcuts and only the highest quality parts have been used.

Comments

The Amel Super Maramu Millenium 2000 is well known to cruisers worldwide as a strong and able offshore vessel, easily sailed by a cruising couple or single handed, outfitted in a way that provides maximum comfort and safety with abundant, easily accessible storage for all the things one needs for long offshore passages. MEANWHILE is easy to handle with her roller furling and electric winches, and is easily maintained with her faux teak on deck and beautiful African Mahogany below.

The port bow has a spacious anchor and rope locker and the starboard bow has a large sail locker, both accessible from the deck. Below is a chain locker accessible through a watertight hatch in the forward collision bulkhead, forward of the V-berth Cabin.

This particular boat has many unique and thoughtful additions …with many features you will not find on any other Super Maramu Millennium. This is a one and only example of all the best that could be incorporated into this design. Put simply, this is the best equipped, best outfitted Super Maramu on or off the market today. In addition, the seller has left appliances, dishes, and safety equipment on the boat for the new owner. Bring your cloths, personal items, and provisions and you are ready to cruise.
