NauticStar created a winner with the 244XTS.  A popular Bay Boat,  24’6” with an 8’6” beam it feels bigger than others.  Owner is a skilled angler and this boat has caught fish on both coasts of Florida and in the Bahamas.  Mfg says ’10 person’, but really this is excellent for 4 or 5 anglers fishing creeks, rivers and nearshore.  Massive storage in forward hatches under the two easy steps up to large forward deck,  so that when casting or tossing a net on the bow feels safe with the large deck and raised gunnel.  Forward and aft live wells.  Hidden rod storage. Horizontal in gunnel rod racks, leaning post rod storage and 4 rod holder cross the large (color matched) hard top.  Garmin 10” color mfd with G3 charts and 3:1 (side/down view) sonar.  Spot lock over a reef with the Minnkota 36V bow mounted trolling motor (lockable and easily removable for security). Three 12V batteries are kept charged after use with the on board battery charger.  Pull out plastic baskets in aft compartments, some use for tackle storage (or a trash can!)  With the jump seats down the aft deck is large enough for two to fish.  Highest power option was 300hp and this boat has it!  300hp fly by wire Suzuki set on an Atlas Jackplate - maybe not ‘skinny 6” water” but raise the engine and get around the creeks and mangroves.  Inshore the PowerPro Blade deploys to hold your spot while working a section of water - or when the grandkids are on the boat hold at the sandbar.
Versatile design, boat works great for family and grandkids with a port side transom swim platform and boarding ladder.  During Broker testing only major thing not working was the stereo.
