41' Roughwater Pilothouse MY '83 "Sea Glass"
SEA GLASS is one of the most adored vessels at the yacht club with a very recent LPG paint job. The Roughwater 41 was designed by Ed Monk to be an all-weather, seaworthy, economical cruiser. The real genius of Monk’s talent becomes apparent in the operation of this single-engine vessel – from dockside maneuvering to handling the roughest of seas! All at a fuel economy not common to vessels of this size.
The light and airy interior with ample storage and locker space also makes her ideal for living aboard.
Accommodations
From the pilothouse down four steps to the main salon which features a large galley aft, an L-shaped settee and dinette to port and a single settee/berth to starboard. Down two more steps to the forward guest cabin which features a V-berth with drawers and storage under, an enclosed head with vanity to starboard and a hanging locker to port. There is also access to the chain locker forward.
The aft master stateroom can be accessed both from the cockpit and by three steps down from the main salon galley area, starboard side. The master stateroom features two double berths (port and starboard), a large enclosed head with vanity and separate shower stall to port, a centerline hanging locker forward adjacent to the enclosed head and a hanging locker to starboard adjacent to the steps up to the galley. There are four drawers below each berth and ample storage throughout.
The flooring is an attractive teak parquet and the white teak-trimmed cabinetry makes the interior light and airy.
