The AQUILA is a 1990 model Sabre 34-2 Targa with the Wing Keel option with a draft of 4'6" . This model was produced by SABRE YACHTS of South Casco, ME from 1988 through to 1991. The last production hull number was "430" with the AQUILA being number "402". Earlier versions were known as the "SABRE 34 Mk II Aft-Cabin".

The AQUILA has been owned by her present Owners for the past 25 years. She's been locally stored maintained operated in our Stamford, CT area during their tenure of ownership. The AQUILA has been well-maintained over the years and upgraded as well as a review of the Listing will certainly indicate. Given the market popularity for the SABRE 34-2 as demonstrated over the years, and the overall condition of the AQUILA, it's highly-recommended not to delay in moving forward with this fine example of a popular sailing yacht. The SABRE 34-2 is constructed with a hand laid-up fiberglass hull. The yacht has a Balsa Core for strength, insulation and reductions of weight. The AQUILA had a full "Bottom Job" in 2013 that included the bottom stripping along with Epoxy Barrier Coatings.

Accommodations

The SABRE 34-2 was produced with the standard SABRE YACHTS varnished teak interior joinery. The overall level of finish, the storage capacity and access for same is certainly well above-average for a production yacht of this era.

The Interior Layout is comprised of a (2) Stateroom layout. The classic "V-Berth" is forward and the the Aft Cabin entrance is located on the port side aft. The Head is located to starboard of the Companionway and the Galley is to port with the Nav Station opposite to starboard. There is a "L" Settee in the Salon to port and a single Settee opposite to starboard. Proceeding to the Fore Cabin, there's a large hanging locker to starboard and a "wash-up" basic facility opposite and to port.
