"Rosebud" has the Furling Mainsail a Furling Genoa with a wing keel offering good performance with a shallow draft.  She is a classic example of a Performance Cruiser able to comfortably cruise to your favorite gunkhole/vacation destination or get you around the cans with your local club. She can sleep 7 with private fore and aft cabins, convertible saloon/dining table to port and game table/settee on starboard side. Her wonderful use of interior wood gives a rich comfortable feel making it a great place to escape for a romantic weekend or entertain friends and family  She is well worth seeing. She is a really good example of the CATALINA 36 MK II.

Accommodations

Whether you are setting out for a family vacation or spending a weekend with your best friends, the 36 Mk II is a safe and comfortable yacht. She will get you to your favorite gunkhole or around the cans. 

Starting at the bow, Rosebud has a large Vee Berth  with hanging locker and cabinets on either side of the entry and additional storage cubbys and drawers under the berth. 

The Head  follows aft on port and features a commode and sink as well as a separate shower area. 

The Saloon  follows aft on port with a dining table that converts to a double berth but stores out of the way against the bulkhead when not in use creating a wonderful living/entertaining area.  Across on starboard is a very clever settee that easily sets up as a romantic table for two but as a settee is large enough for that nap we all need. This flexibility will accommodate up to 7 crew and guests.

The Galley is large and functional with lots of storage and counter space with stove/oven, microwave, portable 110V refrigeration and double sink. 

Across on starboard is the Nav Station with electrical panel and radios all within easy reach. The Desk gives you room to do your navigation work and has a place for all of your Nav Tools.

The Aft Cabin has a queen sized berth and a good sized hanging locker at  the entrance.  There is a large hatch to the cockpit providing good air flow and serves as an escape route.   

The Cockpit is big and well laid out for sailing, entertaining or a night under the stars.  It is further enhanced by a Dodger, Bimini, Stern Rail Seats, Walkthru Transom and Swim Platform.
