Alice J is a 2001 56' DeFever in very nice condition. She was built by CTF Shipyard in Taiwan on the famous 52' hull model and was extended to 56' LOA with her integrated fiberglass swimplatform. Her owners have constantly maintained and updated her through their ownership and continue to do so while she is for sale. Presently, both gearboxes are being rebuilt and Prop Speed is being applied to the running gear. Alice J offers twin Perkins Sabre 225 HP main engines, a Westerbeke 12.5 kW generator, 2 inverters, Side-Power bow thruster, Webasto hydronic heating system, a 2021 15' Boston Whaler Montauk tender with a Mercury 60 HP outboard and a 3 stateroom 3 head layout. She also offers a full stand-up engine room with great access to all equipment and a full-beam master stateroom aft with a centerline queen size berth. Alice J is in Winter storage, but she is accessible for inspection.

56' DeFever Vessel Walkthrough

From the integral fiberglass swimplatform, you walk up molded-in steps on the port side to the hardtop covered aftdeck. Once on the aftdeck, you can walk out either side deck to the foredeck, Portuguese Bridge and pilothouse or step into the salon via the double teak glass doors. Once inside the salon, you will find stairs starboard aft down to the full-beam master stateroom and full-stand up engine room, a dining table for 6 people to starboard, galley port forward and 2 stressless lounge chairs, ottomans, coffee table and end tables to port. Walk forward and into the same-level pilothouse, where you will find a benchseat with storage and a table port aft, a side deck access door on each side and stairs to the flybridge starboard aft. Step down the companionway starboard forward to the guest staterooms.

The headroom in the salon is 6'4", 6'7" in the master stateroom, 6'5" in the master stateroom shower, 6'5" in the engine room, 6'5" in the pilothouse, 6'8" in the mid guest stateroom, 6'5" in the mid guest stateroom shower, 6'11" in the forward guest stateroom, 7' on the flybridge and 6'4" on the aftdeck. The master stateroom berth is 6'10" long, the mid guest stateroom berth is 6'5" long and the forward guest stateroom berths are 6'4" long.

The height from the waterline to the top of the steaming light is 22'.
